Custom Woodworking
Cabinetry, islands, built-ins, furniture, and one-of-a-kind pieces, milled, joined, and finished by hand to last generations.
From custom walnut islands to finished basements, Dusty builds it, fits it, and finishes it himself. One craftsman, start to finish, obsessive about the details, and pretty much able to build anything you can dream up.

What Dusty Does
Dusty handles your project start to finish himself, which means cleaner builds, fewer subcontractors, and one person accountable for the whole job.
Cabinetry, islands, built-ins, furniture, and one-of-a-kind pieces, milled, joined, and finished by hand to last generations.
Trim, doors, flooring, drywall, and the honest punch-list work that finally makes a house feel finished, done right and explained in plain English.
Cedar decks, pergolas, railings, and outdoor living spaces built to weather the seasons and look sharp doing it.
Kitchens, baths, mudrooms, and fireplace surrounds, seamless built-ins that look like they came with the house.
Squeaky stairs, sticking doors, busted trim, that gap nobody else will fix, the fix-it list that finally gets done right.
If you can describe it, Dusty can probably build it. Got something unusual in mind? That's his favorite kind of project.

The Craftsman
I'm Dusty, and Custom Dusty Projects is just me. No call center, no rotating crew, no salesman in a polo. When you hire me, the person who quotes your project is the same person who mills the wood, drives every screw, and sweeps up at the end.
I came up doing fine woodworking, then kept taking on more of the build (trim, built-ins, full remodels) because I was tired of handing my work off to someone who didn't sweat the details. Now I handle the whole project, and that's where the magic happens. A built-in that fits like it grew there. A staircase done right. A space finished exactly the way it should be.
I'm obsessive about the details most people never notice: the reveal lines, the grain match, the joint you'll never notice. If it's got my name on it, it's done right.

In Their Words
1 verified review
“Two years ago Dusty put in an amazing new deck for my family. We loved his work so much that we brought him back when our sunroom needed remodeling, and it was in rough shape. It needed a wall replaced, a sliding door installed, new windows, part of the roof repaired, plus we wanted a mini split put in. It was amazing how hard he worked and the long days he put in, plus all the detail work. He went out of his way to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it, and it all turned out perfect. Can't wait to work with Dusty again.”

Yes, and that's the whole point. One craftsman start to finish means tighter results, fewer subs to coordinate, and a single person accountable for the finished work.
Always. Dusty will talk through your project, look at the space, and give you a clear, honest price with no pressure.
It depends on scope, a repair might be a day, a custom kitchen island a couple of weeks. Dusty gives you a realistic timeline up front and keeps you posted as the work moves along.
