Custom Woodworking
Cabinetry, islands, built-ins, furniture, and one-of-a-kind pieces — milled, joined, and finished by hand to last generations.
From custom walnut islands to full panel upgrades, Dusty builds it, wires it, and finishes it himself. One craftsman, two trades, obsessive about the details — and pretty much able to build anything you can dream up.
What Dusty Does
Most contractors do woodworking or electrical. Dusty does both — which means cleaner builds, fewer subcontractors, and one person accountable for the whole job.
Cabinetry, islands, built-ins, furniture, and one-of-a-kind pieces — milled, joined, and finished by hand to last generations.
Panel upgrades, new circuits, EV chargers, lighting, and accent wiring — done to code and explained in plain English.
Cedar decks, pergolas, railings, and outdoor living spaces built to weather the seasons and look sharp doing it.
Kitchens, baths, mudrooms, and fireplace surrounds — seamless built-ins that look like they came with the house.
Squeaky stairs, dead outlets, busted trim, doors that won't close right — the fix-it list that finally gets done right.
If you can describe it, Dusty can probably build it. Got something unusual in mind? That's his favorite kind of project.

The Craftsman
I'm Dusty — and Custom Dusty Projects is just me. No call center, no rotating crew, no salesman in a polo. When you hire me, the person who quotes your project is the same person who mills the wood, runs the wire, and sweeps up at the end.
I came up doing fine woodworking, then got my hands into electrical because I was tired of waiting on someone else to wire up the lighting I'd already designed. Now I do both — and honestly, that combination is where the magic happens. A built-in with perfect integrated lighting. A staircase that glows. A shop wired exactly the way it should be.
I'm obsessive about the details most people never notice — the reveal lines, the grain match, the wire you'll never see. If it's got my name on it, it's done right.

“Upgraded my whole panel and added an EV charger circuit. Explained everything, no surprises on the bill, and passed inspection first try. Hard to find someone who does both carpentry and electrical this well.”

Yes. Custom Dusty Projects is fully licensed and insured, and all electrical work is done to current code and inspection-ready. (License # to be added here.)
Yes — and that's the whole point. One craftsman handling both means tighter integration (think built-ins with perfect lighting), fewer subs to coordinate, and a single person accountable for the finished result.
Always. Dusty will talk through your project, look at the space, and give you a clear, honest price with no pressure and no surprise charges later.
It depends on scope — a repair might be a day, a custom kitchen island a couple of weeks. Dusty gives you a realistic timeline up front and keeps you posted as the work moves along.
